Faye Kathleen Neves "Together Again"
Faye Kathleen Hill Neves was born 4 July 1926, in Smoot, Star Valley, Wyoming where she grew up and graduated from the 8th grade. She then attended Granite High School and graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City. On 23 Jun 1944 she married Claire Leonard Neves and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Faye has a great sense of humor and a beautiful smile. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she and Claire served a mission in the California, San Francisco Mission (Daly City). She was a successful business woman and was politically active throughout her life. Faye became a master seamstress and sang with a western band. She passed away of natural causes on June 3, 2009 at 2:43 p.m. in Orem, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair L. Neves, her grandson, David Sallenbach, her parents, William I. and Kate Kathleen Hill and her brother, Dean Hill. She is survived by her six children, Sheri Sallenbach, Linda and Roy Pehrson, Shauna and Greg Storrs, Jackie and Todd Buie, Clay and Janae Neves, Jill and Cleon May, 31 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren, her sister, Nita Curtis and her brother, Bill Hill. Among other challenges, she battled cancer twice in her life and valiantly overcame it. Faye loved people and people loved Faye and she will be greatly missed by all. She had a wonderful attitude and an eternal perspective regarding death. The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff of Canyon Breeze Assisted Living Center in Orem and to Inspiration Hospice for their loving care of Faye during this past year. The funeral services will be on Monday, June 8, at 11:00 a.m., in the Alpine 8th Ward Chapel, located at 890 North Alpine Blvd., in Alpine, Utah. There will be a viewing prior to the funeral, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.

That was very beautiful, I hope you guys are all doing okay! She sounded like an amazing lady! I can even see some of you in her - what a sweet lady.
