A New Year

The thing that I love about the new year is that its like a clean slate. Its a great time to reflect on the past year and improve on things. Its always interesting to see how much you have learned and grown. Last year was definitely a big learning year for me... I moved out on my own, I had the opportunity to be a personal trainer... and learned that its definitely not what I want to do... as well as and I learned the meaning and importance of true friends. I really look forward to this coming year.
As of December its been a year since Ryan and I started dating! I cant even believe it!! It has gone so fast. I must say he is the best boyfriend ever. To this day I don't think we have ever really been in a fight. Of course we have had our times when stuff has been bugging us but we always work it out. I have never been happier! He finally got a new schedule with work so he now will get to have weekends and Sundays off. Its been great because we get to go to church together now! It makes going to church that much easier. The only thing that kinda sucks is that he works 24 hour shifts so its whole days at a time that I don't get to see him. But all in all this schedule will be great because he is now at a station and he technically only has to work like 10 days out of the month! He works three 24 hour days with a day off in between and after the third day he gets four days off!! He is going to be taking a written test for Unified Fire Authority this week to see if he will be able to move up to the next level of testing. He is so excited! So pray for him!!
School starts today! Its been a year since I have been in school so this could be interesting... but I'm only taking two classes so it shouldn't be too bad. I feel like such a slacker!! haha But I am so excited because after this semester I only have 3 more classes to take and then I will have my Associates Degree!! I know I'm a little behind everyone my age practically but its still a great accomplishment. Once I get my Associates I have been considering esthetics school. I'm excited to see how it all pans out. :)

You're totally not behind everyone your age! I still have two or three semesters left! So don't feel bad at all!
Hehe! We are totally slackers though!
