My one true love...

Yes, Ryan of course...
But I am talking about another love...
SUGAR!!!
I really think I have a problem.
As hard as I try to break my addiction,
I can't usually go for more than a few days without it.
Especially with Easter recently,
I have an excess of it,
even after giving half of it away!
I always seem to have some in my purse.
And recently I was refered to as the treat master! lol

Nothing is more rewarding after a long exhausting day than a nice sugar high!
Anyone have a suggestion of kickin the sugar tooth??
Suga-tine patches perhaps??
Its getting the better of me!

Umm.... yeah no suggestions either, I am addicted too and I am right there along with you- and yes it is so nice to come home to. But I say that as long as I am keeping it in moderation then I'm ok :)
p.s. something that MIGHT help... if I just want to keep eating sweets all night I will eat a carrot, after I ate some sweets, to calm down the sweetness....

The best thing I have found so far to help with sugar cravings is to chew a piece of gum. It sounds silly but it really does work.

Seriously, Yogurt Stop has non-fat/SUGAR FREE frozen yogurt and it's DELICIOUS and helps my sugar craze often!! They don't always have sugar free... but I normally just call before I go if I really care to get sugar free... but it's delicious and hey, No sugar! ;) You can top with fruit too... it's epic.

I have the SAME DISEASE. I LOVE LOVE LOVE sugar. And the sugar free thing...it's all mental - if I know I'm not having sugar, I'll keep eating until I get sugar. And what the crap, I even have diabetes. But I swear on my life it's an addiction. Probably worse than meth. I could not go a day without sugar and I know that for sure. I even thought about blogging about it too! Maybe if I blog about going off sugar, I will actually stick to my guns. Maybe not. But just so you know...YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!

I just say embrace it. Sugar is fab. No need to feel bad. Just means you gotta go to the gym. :) I have given up trying to "kick the habit". I usually end up eating more crappy calories trying to get rid of my sugar craving than I would if I just ate the dang candy bar. Everything in moderation....I take that EVERYTHING pretty seriously.
